The Lost Wallet
Ravi was walking home from school when he spotted a wallet on the ground. Inside were a few hundred rupees and an ID card. For a moment, he thought about keeping the money, but then he remembered how upset his father had been when he once lost his own wallet. Ravi went to the address on the ID and returned it to its owner, an elderly man. The man smiled gratefully and said, “You could have kept it, but you chose honesty. That’s priceless.”
Moral: Honesty may not make you rich, but it will earn you respect and trust.
