The Broken Window
One afternoon, Priya was playing cricket with her neighbors. She hit the ball hard, and it smashed the window of a nearby house. Everyone ran away, but Priya stayed behind. She knocked on the door and admitted her mistake to the owner. Instead of scolding her, the owner said, “Thank you for being honest. Most children would have run away. I’ll fix the window, but you’ve shown great character.”
Moral: Admitting mistakes takes courage, and honesty makes you stronger.
